Chris studied at the Guildhall School of Music in London with the American 'cellist, Nancy Green. An extraordinarily lyrical cellist, Chris' desire, even from the earliest age, was to be a chamber musician - an aim that has been fully realised.

Chris tours throughout the year with London Concertante, performing the finest works in the chamber repertoire and regularly gives concerts at top concert halls including St. Martin-in-the-Fields, South Bank Centre and Wigmore Hall. During the 09/10 Season, Chris will be giving concerts throughout the UK as well as Spain, Croatia, USA, Finland and Saudi Arabia.

More recently, Chris has revived his love of the recital repertoire and frequently performs with pianist, Warren Mailley-Smith. He has also embarked on a Bach project (together with harpsichordist, David Wright) performing Bach Unaccompanied Cello Suites, which he will be recording in 2010.

Chris' first solo album, Romantic Cello, was recorded in April 2009 at one of London's premiere studios - British Grove, and is now on general release.
